VIDEO: Making Sense of the MBTA Mess

This past Saturday, a community teach-in was held by members of Occupy the MBTA currently participating in “Camp Charlie”, a public transportation-focused, 10 day occupation of the Massachusetts State House steps. The teach-in focused on the role public transportation plays in the lives of Bostonians, the historical context of the MBTA’s current budget crisis and what can be done to save the T.

Speakers included Mike Prokosch of Community Labor United, Jeremy Thompson of MassUniting, local activist and former gubernatorial candidate Grace Ross and professor Victor Wallis of Berklee College of Music.
