On Saturday February 4, Occupy Boston’s Action for Peace working group co-sponsored a rally and march as part of an international day of action to demand “No war on Iran.” Over 200 attendees marched from Park Street to Copley Square, stopping briefly at the Israeli Consulate at Park Plaza. Participants included representatives from the International Action Center, Veterans for Peace, United for Justice With Peace, Beacon Hill Quakers, Iraq Veterans Against the War and the Women’s International League for Peace and Freedom, among others. Saturday’s Boston action was one of fifty-five demonstrations in the United States and in six countries demanding, “No War! No Sanctions! No Assassinations! No Intervention!”
