Sunday 10/9, 2:30pm – The Case for Socialism – with Dana Morganstein
Human need, not corporate greed! Socialism is based on the idea that we should use the vast resources of society to meet people’s needs. A socialist society would take the immense wealth of the rich and use it to meet the basic needs of all people. The resources exist to eliminate poverty and war and to build a socialist society free of poverty and oppression in which we all have control over our lives. Let’s talk about why we need it – and how we can get there. Hewan Aberra of the International Socialist Organization will present the Case for Socialism and then we’ll have an open discussion session.
